Tennis fans are likely still celebrating Federer’s tight victory at Wimbledon over U.K. native Andy Murray, and the United States Tennis Association has recently announced that Federer will lead the men’s field for the 2012 U.S. Tennis Open. Federer will be joined by other tennis superstars this year such as Andy Riddick, defending champion Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, and Juan Martin Del Potro, among others. In total, 101 male tennis players from 37 countries around the world will compete for tennis glory at the U.S. Open beginning August 27th, 2012.
